It's closest relative is teh spectacled bear.
The giant panda lives in mountainous regions such as Schuan and tibet, to a heigh of extincion. Every time you are seeing more giant pandas in the wild. The giant panda is the symbol WWF ( World Wide Fund for Nature Protection) since 1961.
The panda bear eats maingly bamboo, but also eat fruit, small mammals, fish and inseects. The giant panda is a good climber, but is rarely seen on the trees.
